Meeting of the National Committee for Hajj and Umrah.
On Tuesday, April 04, 2017, the Minister of Religious Affairs, Ahmed Awadh, presided over the meeting of the National Committee for Hajj and Umrah, which was devoted to the preparations for the Hajj season and the approval of the various arrangements related to it.
The Minister stressed the importance of tight coordination between the various parties concerned and focus on awareness and good organization in order to make the season a success and overcome the difficulties and to achieve the interests of the pilgrim and represent Tunisia as best.
Mr. Moez Bujmail, Director General of the National Services and Accommodation Company, presented the results of the meeting of the Hajj arrangements and the committees responsible for renting the hotels, as well as the services of improving the transport, catering for the feelings and various other services to the guests of Al Rahman.
The various members of the committee intervened to extend their proposals and tasks related to their preparations regarding the preparations, especially in relation to the health aspect, religious awareness courses and the preparation of Tunisian airports for transporting pilgrims.
During the meeting, the Minister of Religious Affairs stressed the necessity of strict implementation of the law and the implementation of the sanctions available to it in the face of all parties violating their obligations to protect Tunisian pilgrims.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Presidency, the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Religious Affairs and other organizations concerned with the organization.
