I have been working in Riyadh for three years, and thanks to God I have completed the Hajj, but I want to make Hajj for the father of the deceased, may God have mercy on him, what is the Hajj for the deceased if it is permissible?

Answer:

It is permissible to perform Hajj on behalf of your deceased father, who did not perform the Hajj after you had excused yourself, and it was narrated in the hadeeth that a woman said: "O Messenger of Allaah, my father knew that the Hajj is a great sheikh who does not prove to the deceased. On your father is a religion that you judge, so judge God, God is better to fulfill. "

This is how you intend to pay your Hajj to your father, and you say when ihram: accept my argument from my father, and answer as you meet others, and invite a general prayer for you and your parents. Enough intention and God knows best.

It was answered by the scholar Ibn Jibreen (may Allaah have mercy on him)
